Count back k1 relative clauses generated by explicit NOI or similar explicit cmavo (excluding relative phrases which are introduced by GOI), where the current one is k1 = 0; if k1 < 0, then count forward by |k1|; also, k1 = 0 references the current position and the relative clause which this word itself creates/inserts, and thus makes little sense. Instances of this word itself are counted (and are not skipped). This back-counting includes every relative clause (as indicated by the initiators) regardless of the level of embedding/nesting. Notice that following this word immediately with a member of SI is problematic. The NOI initiator is excluded from the copying so that the user may specify there own in and adapted for the present context without needing to worry about strange/pathological/unintended nesting or odd/unwanted behavior from the implicit "sa"*.
